For pursuing ISO: As a small privately ownedmanufacturer, our people only had a limited time that they could dedicate tolearning, understanding, and developing the ISO processes and procedures that were needed before we pursued ISO 9001. TQS identified our gaps andthen helped us document our processes where needed, while also filling inour gaps where needed. All this was done with minimal interruptions toour ongoing daily work.

TQS documented what we did, and then only added the few select items that were needed to make us fully meet ISO 9001. We did not get an off the shelf manual forced on us, thatwe all had to conform too. We were able to use many of our existingprocesses, therefore it was much easier to get everyone up to speed andready for the Registrars audit.

For performing InternalAudits: TQS performing our internalaudits was a big help in transitioning into ISO 9001. The TQS auditors performing our internal audits gives us an unbiased outsiderand someone with experience in many different types of companies. They helped explain their findings, and related the issues to other similarcompanies so we could understand clearly.

They also freed up our timeof the planning the audit, and writing up the report.
